Το υποτιθέμενο χάσμα μεταξύ της θρησκείας και της επιστήμης είναι στο μυαλό λίγων άμυαλων. Οι δύο μεγαλύτεροι λογικολόγοι όλων των εποχών ήταν θεϊστές, ενώ ο αθεϊσμός είναι πολλές φορές πολύ πιο παράλογος από την πίστη σε μια Πρώτη Αιτία. Η θρησκεία και η επιστήμη είναι δύο αλληλοσυμπληρούμενα πεδία γνώσης και πρέπει να συνδυαστούν και τα δύο για να φτάσουμε στο επιθυμητό – την αλήθεια για την ανθρώπινη ύπαρξη.
