Biodiversity and “theory” of evolution with no Theory…

Theory of Evolution has achieved (?) a new “breakthrough” ! Biologists now claim that according to data the biodiversity increases when we are having mild (but not too steep, like in the case of global warming we have today) temperature increases on the planet [1, 2]. This seems like a very important finding, since up to now biologists thought that the increase in temperature decreases biodiversity. OK… Let us take this “conclusion” and analyze it if we can.

What does this even tell us?

Is it a “scientific” result?

Would I be a “scientist” if I told you that “parameter A increases if parameter B increases, but not too much” ?!?

Would I be a “scientist” if I told you that “parameter A increases if parameter B increases, but not in the case of human-caused warming” ?!?

Would I be a “scientist” if I told you that “parameter A increases if parameter B increases, but not too much” in a world where parameter A depends on thousands of parameters ignored in this “conclusion”?

Would I be a “scientist” if I told you that “parameter A increases if parameter B increases, but not too much”, without stating WHY this is happening?

Science has solid calculations and specific predictions. Theory of Evolution does not…

In a weird way, Theory of Evolution practitioners tend to forget that science demands more than “it seems that biodiversity increases” type of conclusions… Science demands predictions. Science demands specific and quantifiable models. Theory of Evolution has neither!

More than 100 years after its first inception, we are still discussing about evolution in kindergarten terms:

– Hmmm, this species SEEMS to be surviving in this environment.

– Hmmm, this species MUST HAVE evolved from that.

– Hmmm, this species SHOULD HAVE evolved into that.

Some people are just above criticism. Who dares criticize proponents of the Theory of Evolution today? And life goes on…
