Human body is 90% microbes and bacteria. Who is in “control” ?

Almost 90% of the cells of the human body are microbes [1]. A recent publication in American Scientific claimed that bacteria outnumber your own cells 10 to 1. [American Scientific, June 2012]

Who are we?

What are we?

Who is actually in “control” in the thing we like to call “human body” ?

If bacteria and microbes is all we are, how can this set of living organisms make up such an intelligent and self conscious being? Could it be that something immaterial actually “moves” that material set of uncoscious things?
