Yes, we Westerners are hypocrits. We think we know better. We think we are the only ones who are “civilized”. We think we are the only ones who know of human rights. We think we are the only ones who have the right to judge others (and invade their countries if we wish).
But enough of words.
Some times pictures talk louder than words.
Yes, our science is inherently connected to the money industry. Yes, our theories cannot explain anything in life as we think. Yes, Facebook and our precious “progressive” technology does not promote civilization and human understanding. Yes, our notions for tradition are the same ones which we accuse of “terrorism” in the countries in Middle East. Yes, we live every day using products produced by children slaves. Yes, we live every day using products produced in the polluting factories in China.
We are privileged. We are arrogant.
