“Art”, money, Dubai…

The Dubai Festival of Literature is now in its fifth year and attracts some of the world’s best known authors and poets. [1]

Two hundred events run throughout the week-long event and range from performances and debates to workshops.

For the first time there is also poetry in the desert under the blanket of stars.

But how “free” can poetry be when it is under the blanket of money?

Spiros Kakos is a thinker located in Greece. He has been Chief Editor of Harmonia Philosophica since its inception. In the past he has worked as a senior technical advisor for many years.
