Magnetic sense. Astronomy. Void cosmos. Humans moving.

The human brain can unconsciously respond to changes in Earth’s magnetic fields, according to a team of geoscientists and neurobiologists. This interdisciplinary study revives a research area in neuroscience that has remained dormant for decades. (1)

We used to believe we can sense the cosmos.

We used to have astrology and religion.

Now we have astronomy and science.

And we are surprised to learn that we are one with the universe.

We can still sense it. But we cannot understand why.

We still dream at night. But it makes us worry that something is not right.

Astronomy is the bastard child of astrology and religion.

Seeing nothing where its parents saw everything.

And all it wants is to kill it’s parents.

Stars moving. People walking. Bird singing. Babies crying.

We see the surface of the cosmos without wanting to accept that there is depth in the ocean we travel on. At some point even astronomy will know it all. And it will be able to see all the gears making the world go round. And at that point of great triumph, it will see they are moving only because we have our hands on them.

And our laughter will echo through the cosmos.

And even for a fleeing moment.

Everything will stop.

And for the first time…

The cosmos will start sensing us…

And with rejoice, the universe will whisper.

Searching for the Psyche… [Astrology vs. Astronomy 1-0 once more]

4.5 billion years ago in the violent, high-speed environment of the early solar system, a protoplanet roughly the size of Mars was involved in a series of fierce collisions with other large planetary bodies.

A number of powerful impacts stripped the planet of its rocky mantle, leaving an exposed nickel-iron core. After further blows, break-away pieces of metal were flung into space – the final destination for some would be Earth.

This, scientists believe, is the story of Psyche. Now a cold metal world in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, the asteroid – named after the Greek goddess of the soul (Gr. Ψυχή – Psyche) – offers a unique vision of the violent history of collisions and accretion that created the terrestrial planets.

Research published in Earth and Planetary Science Letters has helped secure $450 million of NASA funding for a satellite to boldly go where no satellite has been before; on a mission to Psyche. (1)

We have made the cosmos a cold dark place.

We have expelled our own selves from the universe.

Depicting it as a place full of planets, stars, particles and nothing else.

And now we set out to seek Psyche into… iron.

Oh, how much would the old alchemists laugh with us.

Astronomy is the daughter of Astrology.

And as many children, it is arrogant and blind.

Astronomy has helped us see deep into the Universe.

But has made us blind to our own Self.

Look deep into the cosmos with your telescope.

What you see is not just an asteroid…

The universe is not empty.

Stop staring.

Blood tests vs. Astrology 0-1

A single blood test could reveal whether an otherwise healthy person is unusually likely to die of pneumonia or sepsis within the next 14 years. Based on an analysis of 10,000 individuals, researchers have identified a molecular byproduct of inflammation, called GlycA, which seems to predict premature death due to infections.The findings suggest that high GlycA levels in the blood indicate a state of chronic inflammation. Possiblities.

In the next 14 years…

Sounds like astrology.

But it is not.

Astrology foundations was much more sound: Modern people believe a butterfly in the US can affect China – but find the notion of whole stars affecting humans ridiculous. Astrology fitted better to the Popper criteria of science: It could be refuted much easier – its predictions were more immediate and one did not have to wait 14 years to see if they were right or wrong. But most important of them all, astrology had a much nobler goal: To help humans reach their godly potential. Medicine’s assumptions and marketing stunts like this have money as their goal. And some additional page views of course.

In an era of scientism words like “seem” are unscientific.

Unless they come from the mouths of priests… sorry I meant scientists…

Astrology: The astronomy we really need…

The pyramids. The Logos of the stars affects us all down here…

We laugh at astrology.

We think it is “unscientific”.

We need a Shestov to remind us how wrong we are.

Because astrology is not talking about whether you will win the jackpot tommorow or whether you will be king. Astrology is about studying the stars (most greatest astronomers were actually astrologists – e.g. Kepler) with the ultimate goal of understanding the “logos” behind all things which happen.

Astrology is actually astronomy with a care for humans.

Astronomy researches the “cold” universe. A cosmos void of consciousness. Astrology has human as its main subject of analysis.

We laugh at the idea of the stars affecting us. And yet we easily believe that a butterfly can affect the other side of the world by swinging it’s wings…

We laugh at the things astrology says, but astrology can be falsifiable much more easily than most astronomical theories can (e.g. parallel universes, Big Bang etc).

Science with a care for humans. This is what we need.

Not the cold “data analysis” science we have today.
