Prudery: Can it be taught?

Michelle Obama's Oscars dress

Iran news media, “dressed up” Michelle Obama in the Oscars ceremony. [1]

Her dress was too much for them to show to their viewers.

Without referring to the case of Michelle (I do not think her dress was all that provocative that such a move from the Iranian media was needed), these is a real question here about our society:

Can prudery, ethics and decency be “taught”? Can Iran really impose such things onto its citizens?

And vice versa: Does our society make us less dignified with all these porn-like advertisements we see every day?

What are the limits of our “free” will in an environment where we are bombarded with all this data and information and role models?

Free Will and eating at Christmas…

A new study suggests that excess holiday eating disturbs your ‘Food Clock’. Funny though. Humans eat more every year on holidays for the past hunderds of years. How come that our inner “food clock” has not yet adapted to these habbits? We should train our inner clock. Not be slaves to it. [1]

Exercise your Free Will!

Eat more!

It is Christmas!
