u-bit: The new “God”

Bill Wootters of Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts tries to make quantum theory to be based only on real (and not imaginary) numbers. In his quest to do so, he has formulated a theory of a “master bit” called u-bit, which transcends the whole cosmos and interferes with all things. This is the only way to solve the “information loss” problem of current quantum physics theories (when a wavefunction collapses, it takes a specific real number value as compared to the multitude of complex values it can take before the collapse), while it also makes the whole theory more intuitive. The bad news is that this theory means that quantum computers are not possible to make. (this u-bit interacts with everything – you cannot isolate a system as we imagine we can do) (1)

We keep discovering other names for what the old ones knew a long long time ago before us. Something magical transcends the cosmos. And we feel it in every aspect of our life. We need it to give meaning to what we see, whether this is quantum theories or simply… life!

Denying it is like denying our very own existence…
Or simply as denying quantum physics. 😉

Nothing can have meaning unless something gives that to it… Whether you call Him “God”, “human”, “Maria”, “chair”, “ideas”, “consciousness”, “aether”, “quantum field” or… “u-bit”, God is here!

Supersymmetry, “multiple solutions”, interpretations…

Squarks, selectrons and neutralinos may be lurking in the universe, say physicists who suggest supersymmetry — the idea that every known particle has a yet-to-be-discovered sister particle — is not dead, despite the lack of evidence found in its favor.

The world’s most powerful atom smasher, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), has yet to find evidence of the existence of such particles (super-symmetric particles), though perhaps physicists are not interpreting the data in the right way (in particular of how they interpret the so-called “multiple solutions” available for every collision data), said particle theorist Ben Allanach of Cambridge University. Science has become a giant Babel tower where everyone interprets the evidence in his own way. But this is not weird. This has always been the case. The anomaly stems from people who BELIEVE (not a random choice of words) that one opinion is more “correct” than the other based on their own assumption (“models” they call them)…

Relativity Theory and Light – The fake “limit”…

What is the Relativity Theory? What does it really say?

The major misconceptions are related to the speed of light as a universal speed limit. A limit which… limits us in almost everything – from interspace journeys to information transmission and time travels (yes, Godel proved they are possible).

But how is that limit derived? And can it be overcome?

Speaking in favor of FTL (Faster than Light) speeds can easily ban you from scientific communities.

However…

That “limit” was initially derived from a series of experiments. But not everyone agrees that the results of these experiments were null. (see here) And there are other experiments casting a doubt on that experiment… (see experiments of Dayton Miller here)

That “limit” is set to be true due to the fact that c is calculated from Maxwell’s equations. But why not believe the “Many Minds Relativity” according to which each observer assumes that light propagates according to Maxwell’s equations in a coordinate system, or a vacuum, fixed to the observer? Different observers moving with respect to each other, thus use different coordinate systems or different vacui, but they all use the same Maxwell’s equations. [source] No problem with such an explanation. And surely no “limit” there…

That “limit” is not universal. It is actually broken in more than one occasions. And it is simply “not relevant” to many other cases of faster than light information transfer. See the below sources:

That “limit” is experimentally verified like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

We use Relativity Theory equations (which were built ON THE BASIS of light speed being the ultimate barrier) to calculate the speed of e.g. space particles and we find it to always be less than c. But this happens because these equations do not allow anything to get a speed beyond c simply because THEY ARE CONTRUCTED SO THAT THIS HAPPENS! [source]

Like Alternative Physics suggests…

Replace: “The speed of light is a constant for all observers” with: The speed of light is a constant relative to its source.

Replace: “No object can exceed the speed of light” with: No object can exceed the speed of light relative to its launch point.

What is the speed of a thought? Think quickly. And as Bruce Lee said… “Have no limit as limit”.

Medicine vs. Alternative medicine 1-0

Read the following news brief:

“A component of bee venom packaged in super-tiny blobs can knock out HIV, a new study finds. Researchers testing the delivery system in lab dishes report that these nanoparticles attach to and destroy the virus without damaging cells, offering an early glimpse of a technology that might — with a lot more testing — prevent HIV infection in some people”. [1]

What do you find weird about that?

Nothing? Think again.

Pay attention to that “some people” line…

The “this does not work always/ for everyone” is the MAIN argument against alternative medicine practices, like acupuncture.

But when it comes to our beloved western medicine this is not even a problem. It is actually an integral part of the “scientificness” of cure methods…

HIV, possible cures, Cures…

A baby girl in the US born with HIV appears to have been cured after very early treatment with standard drug therapy. [1]

Funny how just one (out of MILLIONS) case of POSSIBLE cure by western medicine is making the headlines with flashing bold letters, while on the other hand many cases of treatment by alternative medicine are simply tagged as “coincidence” and put aside as charlatanism…

Prejudice and dogmatism have deep routs in our way of thinking. And no drug coctail can cure that…
