Our life is not our own…

Our life is not our own… [Cloud Atlas]

As simple as it may sound, this phrase has a profound meaning and can liberate a person from its anxiety.

We all talk about “OUR live” as if it is our property.

However we do not know why we are here.

We do not know where we will “go” after we are dead.

And yet, we insist that it is “OUR life”…

Change that simple premise and you will see life in a better way. More holistically. You are part of the Whole, part of One. Your life is not your own. You have Free Will but that does not mean that you “own” something. Your Free Will is given. Your life is given. Be gracious. Not arrogant.

You are a luminous being. Not this crude matter!

Why “antitheseis” exists.

The world is full of things which are in “anti-thesis” (Gr. αντίθεση) with each other. And this results in some antiphasis (Gr. αντιφάσεις) which cannot be resolved and buffle us. But why should antithesis exist in the first place?

The reason is simple: Our senses and our model of thinking is based on them. Without them, we would not be able to understand anything! Because you can only understand something when you compare it with its opposite. Light only has a meaning when you compare it to darknes…

Without antitheseis, the world would be One. As it really is…

Without senses (after death?), the world would be One. As it really is.

ADHD, Sweden, crime behavior & “The Dictatorship of Psychiatry 2”

A Swedish study shows that people with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) who are involved in crime are less likely to reoffend when on treatment than not. Researchers from the Karolinska Institute looked at data from over 25,000 people with ADHD in Sweden. Estimates suggest between 7-40% of people in the criminal justice system may have ADHD and other similar disorders, though in many cases the condition is not formally recognised. The research suggests that ADHD treatment ‘may reduce risk of criminal behaviour’. This is a continuation of older studies which suggested that people with ADHD are more likely to commit offences than the general population. Providing better access to medication may reduce crime and save money, experts and support groups say. Sweden is once more on the very edge of fascism (see tag “Sweden” for more). As Hitler once thought that he could control people through genetics, Sweden now thinks we can find out who will be a criminal by a simple psychiatry test (or worse, by a simple DNA test?). And don’t even imagine of feeling “safe” because you don’t have ADHD. The set of “diseases” which cause “criminality” will increase day by day. People is power have always used insanity as a means of controlling masses and this is to happen once more. Because after all, if you are the one who defines who is “insane” or with a “disorder” and who is “normal”, why not bend the rules a little bit and get rid of some “annoying” people to? Who will care anyway? It is “science” right? And nobody questions “Science”…

Google, ITU, UN and the popular myth of “Free Internet”…

Google has asked web users to add their name to an online petition to support its view regarding the upcoming ITU conference on the future of Internet. “The [UN agency] International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is bringing together regulators from around the world to renegotiate a decades-old communications treaty,” it wrote on its Take Action site.”Some proposals could permit governments to censor legitimate speech – or even allow them to cut off internet access. Other proposals would require services like YouTube, Facebook, and Skype to pay new tolls in order to reach people across borders. This could limit access to information – particularly in emerging markets”. Google added that it was concerned that “only governments have a voice at the ITU” and not companies or others who had a stake in the net, concluding that the World Conference on International Telecommunications (Wcit) was “the wrong place” to make decisions about the internet’s future. [source 1=”<a” href=”http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-20429625&#8243; 2=”target="_blank">BBC” 3=”News</a>” language=”:”][/source]

If you ask me, the Internet was and will be controlled by someone. The myth of “free Internet” is one of the greatest myths of all times. The Internet was created by a government and by a specific state. That state (US) controls the basic infrastructure of the Internet for many many years now. And that is logical. Why wouldn’t you control something YOU created?!? Now Google is “concerned” because it might start loosing the control she has started gaining with its popular search engine. Google controls what we see and it surely does not want someone else pulling the strings in their field of expertise. Google, UN, US… Whatever. In the long run, someone will always control the Internet. The Internet is not “free”. We just have to accept it.

Quantum key distribution, human minds changing “Reality”…

Thousands of kilometres of existing fibre may be used to carry quantum codes…

The “uncrackable codes” made by exploiting the branch of physics called quantum mechanics have been for the first time sent down kilometres of standard broadband fibre. [1] This “quantum key distribution” has until now needed a dedicated fibre separate from that used to carry data. Sending faint, delicate quantum keys required dedicated, so-called “dark fibres”, with no other light signals present. That was an inherently costly prospect for users who had to install or lease a separate fibre. But a new technique reported in Physical Review X shows how to unpick normal data streams from the much fainter, more delicate quantum signal. The quantum key distribution or QKD idea is based on the old idea of sharing of a key between two parties. Tiny, faint pulses of laser light are used in a bid to make single photons with a given alignment, or polarisation. Two different polarisations can act like the 0s and 1s of normal digital data, forming a means to share a cryptographic key. What makes it secure is that once single photons have been observed, they are irrevocably changed. An eavesdropper trying to intercept the key would be found out.

Philosophers have postulated the idea of us affecting (and creating) what we call “Reality” for thousands of years. Ideas like that sounded weird (at best) and were discarded by mainstream philosophers and common people who where afraid to see anything beyond their nose. Now we have surpassed the point of discussion and have directly reached to the point of solid everyday applications of that “weird” concept… Thank you technology!

No matter how illogical it may sound, remember in the near future that your data is protected by that very “illogical” thing…
