Why Communism WON after all… Why are YOU here today? Do you feel God?

“Why are we here today?” she asked.

“To make revolution,” they answered.

“What kind of revolution?” she replied.

“The Cultural Revolution,” they chanted.

“And how do we make Cultural Revolution?” she demanded.

“By destroying the American family!” they answered.

“How do we destroy the family?” she came back.

“By destroying the American Patriarch,” they cried exuberantly.

“And how do we destroy the American Patriarch?” she replied.

“By taking away his power!”

“How do we do that?”

“By destroying monogamy!” they shouted.

“How can we destroy monogamy?”

Their answer left me dumbstruck, breathless, disbelieving my ears.  Was I on planet earth?  Who were these people?

“By promoting promiscuity, eroticism, prostitution and homosexuality!” they resounded. (1)

Part of a fictional novel?

No.

Part of a weird cult?

No.

Part of American universities.

People think that communism lost the war with the glorious America, but it is actually the other way around. Culturally the Marxist ideas of the liberation (communism’s favorite word for leading minions into inextricable slavery) of women from the slavery of the family have been poisoning the western culture for decades.

Once upon a time people believed in life. Once upon a time people believed in family. Once upon a time there were Christians. Once upon a time people believed in God.

Now people believe they own life. Now people believe family is the enemy. Now we have anti-christians disguised as “atheists” or “agnostics”. Now we believe we are gods.

“Is is my body” they say. And a child cries.

“I want a career” they claim. And Ava Gardner laughs.

Be aware of those who claim big victories. They could be facing their greatest defeat. No, I am not talking about US. I am referring to all those women who cry alone at night wishing they were not alone. I am referring to all those women who cry alone at night wishing they had the children they once upon a time killed. I am referring to all those atheists who cheered upon the “God is dead” announcement. They were too busy celebrating, that they did not notice Nietzsche crying…

Have you found love in your life?

Do you feel god? Or a humble human?

Why are you here today?

Communism as part of western universities stories (to mention to anyone throwing the “universities/ professors say so” argument to you)

Yes, I am a Christian. And I do not tell you why! [Unless you insist…]

Yes, I am a Christian. And I do not tell you why!

Unless…

…you tell me that Chirstianism killed a lot of people.

So I will ask you if Christ taught murder.

…you tell me that Christianism oppressed people.

So I will tell you to read how Jesus behaved to people who were outcasts in His time. And I will also ask you if you really know and understand the difference between politics, religion and religion philosophy. And if you can detect such a difference for every bad thing happens in the name of science. And if you believe Mengele represented science (even though he did in his time – see here).

…you tell me that Christianism is darkness.

So I will tell you that humanism began in Byzantium. (see here) And that everything you know about ancient Greek philosophers you so much admire, you know because a monk somewhere saves his works. And that even the ancient “free thinking” Greeks had religion. And that universities started in the “Dark” Middle Ages and Dawkins teaches in one of those “dark” places.

…you tell me that Christianism is all about faith.

So I will tell you the difference between “blind faith” and “faith based on logic and evidence”. And I will explain to you that science needs faith as well. And I would add that believing in a scientific axiom requires more faith than to believe in love like Christ taught.

…you tell me that Christianism is unscientific and irrational.

So I will tell you that it is more irrational and unscientific to believe that everything exist out of pure luck than to believe that everything has a cause. And that Aristotle (the founder of Logic) and Gödel (the second greatest logicologist after… Aristotle) believed – based on their logic – in the First Cause. And that the great so called atheist (what? Yes… Check out here) Nietzsche was an irrationalist. And that the Interacademy Panel [IAP – Global network of Science Academies] acknowledged the limitations of science (see “The Limits of Science” @ Harmonia Philosophica) and the need to coexist with religion which examines completely different questions which are out of scope for science. (see “Religion and Science philosophy” @ Harmonia Philosophica) And that most important scientists like Max Planck, Heisenberg and Collins were believers (see here).

…you tell me that consciousness/ soul stems from the brain.

So I will tell you the TV analogy and remind you that reductionism is as much “proven” as the 5th axiom of Euclid is. Adding a recommendation for some more in depth reading regarding the brain and the mind. (see “Human Consciousness and the end of Materialism” and here)

…you tell me that Christianism has stupid rituals

So I will tell you to spend some time in the analysis of the words spoken and the appreciation of the artistic beauty of the hymns sang during the John Chrysostom liturgy. And to compare it with stupid rituals with semi-naked women you so much enjoy watching.

…you tell me that Christianism is simplistic.

So I will tell you that the highest philosophy is and should be simplistic. And I would dare you to find any phrase full of philosophical meaning like “Love your enemies” is.

I love you too my atheist friend.

And I understand that your irritation stems from your deep need to believe.

Materialism is ridiculous. Arguing in favor of religion is truly easy for someone who knows the basics. Science is the new religion nowadays. But you must have free thinking is you wish to be true to yourself. Atheism is trendy nowadays. But you must resist my dear atheist friend. Christ taught love, compassion, forgiveness (Gr. Συγ-χώρεση). If you agree with all these, why so hatred against Him?

Accept logic.

Accept your thoughts.

Accept your feeling.

Only then will you be able to say “I am a Christian!”.

Without the need to tell anyone why…

Atheism turning into Religion via Consciousness…

For materialists around the world it is almost taken for granted that everything from physics to biology, including the mind, ultimately comes down to four fundamental concepts: matter and energy interacting in an arena of space and time. But there are skeptics who suspect we may be missing a crucial piece of the puzzle.

Since it was published in 2012, “Mind and Cosmos”, by the philosopher Thomas Nagel, is the book that has caused the most consternation. With his taunting subtitle — “Why the Materialist Neo-Darwinian Conception of Nature Is Almost Certainly False” — Dr. Nagel was rejecting the idea that there was nothing more to the universe than matter and physical forces. He also doubted that the laws of evolution, as currently conceived, could have produced something as remarkable as sentient life. That idea borders on anathema, and the book quickly met with a blistering counterattack. Steven Pinker, a Harvard psychologist, denounced it as “the shoddy reasoning of a once-great thinker”.

What makes “Mind and Cosmos” worth reading is that Dr. Nagel is an atheist, who rejects the creationist idea of an intelligent designer. The answers, he believes, may still be found through science, but only by expanding it further than it may be willing to go.

Science, Dr. Nagel proposes, might require another revolution: showing that mind, along with matter and energy, is “a fundamental principle of nature” — and that we live in a universe primed “to generate beings capable of comprehending it”. Rather than being a blind series of random mutations and adaptations, evolution would have a direction, maybe even a purpose.

“Above all”, he wrote, “I would like to extend the boundaries of what is not regarded as unthinkable, in light of how little we really understand about the world”.

Dr. Nagel is not alone in entertaining such ideas. While rejecting anything mystical, the biologist Stuart Kauffman has suggested that Darwinian theory must somehow be expanded to explain the emergence of complex, intelligent creatures. And David J. Chalmers, a philosopher, has called on scientists to seriously consider “panpsychism” — the idea that some kind of consciousness, however rudimentary, pervades the stuff of the universe. (1)

Harmonia Philosophica said it a long time ago: Consciousness will be the final frontier that will make science turn towards new ways of thinking.

What is immaterial by nature cannot be explained via material models.

Of course atheists will name it anyway they can in order to hide their intellectual defeat. But the point will be the same: God, in one form or another, is here. Among us. Call it “consciousness”, call it “panpsyhism”, call it “weird state of matter”. The result is the same.

We are luminous beings. Bond by the Force… Errr… I meant by the “mind”…

Christianity – The “easy” or the hard way?

“I didn’t go to religion to make me happy. I always knew a bottle of Port would do that. If you want a religion to make you feel really comfortable, I certainly don’t recommend Christianity.” ― C.S. Lewis

Even though most people believe that other choose Christianism so as to feel better, this is not the case. Christianism is quite strict with many things and does not make you feel better just because you are a Christian! It needs effort and time to achieve that. Believing in nothing (atheism) and that the purpose of life is to eat a good meal (Dawkins) is the best way to instantly feel better!
