Soap bubbles, patterns, One, infinite…

Soap bubble storm. (1)

Self-repeating patterns are everywhere.

The unity of the cosmos cries out its existence in every aspect of the cosmos, in every detail we see. But we are just too reluctant to acknowledge it.

The idea seems absurd. Could everything be One?

Could we be seeing the same things over and over again simply because we want so? Could we be creating an imaginary world by using and re-suing the same self-made fantasies?

We claim we want the truth. But usually the one who cries out loud about something, is the last person really wanting it… Are patterns in our mind or are they another manifestation of the uniqueness of reality? One and Infinite are two sides of the same coin…

u-bit: The new “God”

Bill Wootters of Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts tries to make quantum theory to be based only on real (and not imaginary) numbers. In his quest to do so, he has formulated a theory of a “master bit” called u-bit, which transcends the whole cosmos and interferes with all things. This is the only way to solve the “information loss” problem of current quantum physics theories (when a wavefunction collapses, it takes a specific real number value as compared to the multitude of complex values it can take before the collapse), while it also makes the whole theory more intuitive. The bad news is that this theory means that quantum computers are not possible to make. (this u-bit interacts with everything – you cannot isolate a system as we imagine we can do) (1)

We keep discovering other names for what the old ones knew a long long time ago before us. Something magical transcends the cosmos. And we feel it in every aspect of our life. We need it to give meaning to what we see, whether this is quantum theories or simply… life!

Denying it is like denying our very own existence…
Or simply as denying quantum physics. 😉

Nothing can have meaning unless something gives that to it… Whether you call Him “God”, “human”, “Maria”, “chair”, “ideas”, “consciousness”, “aether”, “quantum field” or… “u-bit”, God is here!

This SHOULDN’T exist! [The Kepler-78b case]

Kepler-78b is a planet that shouldn’t exist. This scorching lava world circles its star every eight and a half hours at a distance of less than one million miles — one of the tightest known orbits. According to current theories of planet formation, it couldn’t have formed so close to its star, nor could it have moved there. (1)

“Should” is based on axioms.

Science cannot be based on nothing.

However the real world does not support “should” – it always finds a way to nullify it. Does that mean it is based on nothing?

Being logical in an illogical world…

People rely on logic.
But logic cannot explain anything.

It cannot explain why the universe exists. “Logically” it shouldn’t.
It cannot explain why our planet is here. “Logically” it shouldn’t.
It cannot explain why we are here. “Logically” we shouldn’t.

Stop being so logical.
The cosmos is inherently illogical.

From the stars inside bacteria… (literally)

Ancient bacteria may have chewed up the radioactive remains of a star that exploded more than 2 million years ago. [1]

Iron-y is a fundamental part of the Cosmos.

From being a powerful star, into the “guts” of the lowest living organism…

Is there a more powerful way to illustrate the poetry of this world?

Que sera sera…
