Eugenics works! So why not use it? A hard problem begging for a simple answer…

In a recent online discussion where the idea of modern eugenics was brought up, many people were against it. Since eugenics bring up correlations with the Nazis it is easy for most people to discard such ideas as wrong or unethical. It is obvious that applying eugenics is wrong.

But all obvious things are very hard to prove.

In this case, someone simply asked “Why shouldn’t we engineer a baby not being sick?” and since then, this simple question has stuck into my mind. Sure, eugenics seems obviously wrong. But why? Why shouldn’t we make better babies? Only because we have bad memories of some people who at some point in time used similar techniques to do bad?

This sounds as stupid as fearing nuclear energy because at some point the US Air Force dropped two nuclear bombs on Japan. Surely it did happen, but one has nothing to do with the other.

So why is eugenics wrong?

Why shouldn’t we eradicate disease if we can?

The argument that “eugenics will not work and will cause probably more disease” is a plausible one, but yet it is not enough. For sure eugenics are currently not so advanced that it is error-free. Editing the genome of a person could result in numerous other mutations that could in turn result in more dreadful diseases than the ones we try to eradicate. But this argument does not answer the question at hand. It simply defers the answer. What if we had a way to have a working method for eugenics and for editing genome without problems? Would we then accept eugenics as something good?

Imagining this perfect scenario where we have mastered eugenics in such a way that it can produce perfect humans with no diseases whatsoever, is the key to the answer we seek. You see, the problem of technology as Heidegger put it, is not that it does not work, but that it does.

Humans without disease.

Humans not dying.

Humans perfect in any way.

This is our dream. But we have been into that dream for so long, that we have forgotten it is a nightmare. Humans not dying, means humans enslaved into the material world were we do not belong in the first place. A cosmos without disease and pain, means a world where there are no warning signs. We might all fear pain and death, but philosophy does strongly indicate that these might not be issues after all, in a cosmos which strongly suggests that the material aspect is insignificant in front of the spiritual one that engulfs it. A world with perfect humans, is not a dream of a rational man but the hubris of an irrational psychopath looking for perfection is a world which is nothing but. A world with people not dying is no different than a world full of zombies.

In simpler words: Yes, a car might get you faster where you go. But that does not say anything whether your destination is the right one.

Eugenics is a way to build on modern materialistic dogmatism and enhance it to new unprecedented heights.

But is materialism correct as a philosophy?

Is the cosmos made of matter only?

Do you breath only because your cells do?

Do you think because your brain does?

Do you love because of chemistry?

Do you cry because of molecular interactions?

Sorry to break the news, but if your answer to the above is “Yes”, then it doesn’t even matter if eugenics works or not.

Because you are already dead.

Science, Eugenics and why Nazis won after all…

Old Mengele picture with kids? [http://mengele-friends.livejournal.com/]
Auschwitz experiments were just the beginning. The beginning of a war Science has started against Humans. We every day see genes, talk about genes, study genes, analyze genes. We listen about the right to abortion, about the right to terminate lives in the name of our… well being.

We think that Nazis lost…

But their MAIN cause is still very much alive in our science today.

Maybe because we always believed in the same things as the Nazis… As Alexis Carrel (1), we love to make “improvements”. We like being gods. And this will not stop until humans become monsters. We must not forget that one of the first things Hitler did when he came to power, was to make abortion legal (2). And he used abortion as tool to exterminate populations in the context of his genocide agenda. (7, 8, PDF Article) Eugenics has for a long time been the favorite “toy” of western “civilization” long before Hitler. (9, 10) (three eugenics conventions were held long before Hitler) Hitler just used it. And how much do we love those new “toys” like the Führer did!

Kaiser Wilhelm Institute of Anthropology, Human Heredity, and Eugenics (KWI-A)

Tοday’s science may question Christ or the existence of a Cause for the universe, but it does not question the findings of the Nazis. It just changed the name of the “Kaiser Wilhelm” institute of biology research. You can now find it as… “Max Planck”. (345)

Science is still at “war”. And it will not stop until it wins. As Mengele said (6)…

Dr. Nyiszli: “When will all this extermination cease?”
Dr. Mengele: “My friend, it will go on, and on, and on”…

Genetics, Down’s syndrome and our Death Civilization…

An early test for Down’s syndrome is developed. With this future mothers will know even earlier if their child-to-be-born has this disease. [1]

Such tests really terrify me. Because they are not performed with the intention to preserve or sustain life, but with the intention to terminate it…

The point under discussion is this: Should science (as “Science”) be interested in the moral implications of what it does? For years scientists claim that it shouldn’t. However the evil related to scientific discoveries is much too overwhelming to ignore. Science SHOULD take a stand!

When I develop a test that I KNOW will be used to justify the killing of someone and yet, I cannot say that I am “not” responsible for the results… Bioethics as a sector should develop IN PARALLEL with the advances of science in various fields, ESPECIALLY when human life is at stake.

The need to “know” is urged by a need to kill anything unperfect.
Our civilization is a civilization of (spitirual) death.

We WILL create the perfect body, like Hitler visualized. But when we do, we will have killed its soul…

Evil Sweden strikes back… (or: How to sterilize “inferior” people)

Advertisements

Sweden had (from 1920s to 1970s) the best eugenics program in the world (i.e. compulsory sterilization of metally diseased, inferior and/ or “impure” citizens et cetera). They even “taught” Hitler, who actually asked for a copy of their eugenics law for his Reich…

Even though many other states had similar eugenica programs (including USA, Switzerland, Denmark etc) Sweden surpassed them all in duration and “quality”. But we shouldn’t be surprised. All these should be obvious, given that Sweden is the most “civilized” state in the world, a role model to which all western countries look up to.

Of course things are better now. Crude eugenics have stopped in order to be replaced with more… noble ones. For example people who wish to change their gender in Sweden (who is advertised as “gay friendly”) must get a divorce and be sterilized in order to be allowed to do so (see here).

The Devil always wears the best suit… Go go Sweden!

PS. And no, this is not the fault of “science”! Unless you believe that the crusades are a fault of religion. But then again, this IS the fault of scientists!

EUGENICS GALLERY

Below you can find a collection of eugenics-related posters or related photos. Not forgetting the past is crucial for our progress as human beings…

Being good means being active. Society went the wrong way because many “decent” people just “did nothing” as some of their fellow humans were suffering. It is not just Hitler who was the bad guy. Sometimes it looks like Hitler was just a patsy for all other “civilized” countries to hide behind…
