Alive! [Poetic terror]

Oh, terror!

Will I die?

Erased from the pages of existence?

Will I seize to be?

Breathless.

I can almost feel the darkness.

Flying in empty space.

Beyond the rings of Saturn.

I can almost listen to the whisper of silence.

Empty.

(Can anything be empty?)

Rays of light.

I can almost feel the warmth now.

Beyond the limits of myself.

I can listen to you.

Walking on bare ground.

Feeling the air.

Why am I here?

Treading on the paradoxical mist of nothingness.

Will I ever listen to you again?

Oh, terror!

I am alive!!!

Insignificant specks…

Vast universe.

Huge planet.

Look.

In the desert.

Insignificant specks.

In the forest.

Smiling.

Walking down the road.

(Good morning Madam!)

Crying.

Playing on the street.

(Do you remember yourself as a child?)

Cherries.

Look.

Feel the cold water.

In a million years…

We will not be here.

Insignificant specks.

Die.

And the cosmos will laugh.

Die.

Light breeze.

A gentle whisper…

Petty cosmos!

You never really understood!

(Can something not be?)

Born.

And on an empty shore.

Beyond the forest clearing.

Under those cherries.

A cry.

We are still here!

(Insignificant cosmos…)

Christians dying. [Poem. Memento Mori]

Walking down the street.

Flowers drifted by the breeze.

Sparrow passes by.

The odor of flowers.

The odor of death.

Hold my hand daughter. Smile.

The executioner comes from behind.

Child chuckles fill the air.

Blood dripping at the edge.

Hold my hand daughter. Smile.

I will tickle you!

The sword comes down fast.

Laughter.

Look at me daughter.

Sparrow flies away fast.

I love you…

Silence.

Flowers blooming…
