Civilization is built with faith, not with denial.
Culture is cultivated with affirmation, not with negation.
Societies are founded on trust and love, not on distrust and hate.
Science is based on free thought and love for the quest for truth, not axiomatic dogmatism (even when this dogmatism is related to what we call “logic” or “proof”) or obsessed blind acceptance (even when this dogmatism is related to what we call “logic” or “proof”).
New atheism is not dead. New atheism was just never alive. Not because it never had any logical sound arguments (which it did not). But most important of all because it was never based on love for something but on hate and negation for something. Never anything starting with the negation-related “‘-a” (Gr. Στερητικό άλφα) flourished as an idea. And no, a-theism did not become the exception.
Find out what you believe. Start building on it.
It is the only way of progress.
No, it means not believing an ideology.
Some have claimed atheism is a faith, or even a religion. They are wrong.
Atheists disbelieve one more religion than the Christians do.
An interesting way to see it but you are wrong my friend. Being an atheist means believing in all too many things, starting from materialism as a philosophical dogma.
Atheism is not based on hate, negation or anything like that. It’s not anti society either. It’s based on not believing an ideology.
A-theism is by definition a negation.
And don’t spend too much time worrying about things you don’t believe in, there are just too many.
Thanks for the comment, but I don’t really get it. I worry about things which may destroy the structure of society, because I am part of it.
