Sleeping. Accepting.

If we sleep in the first 24 hours after a traumatic experience, this may help process and integrate the distressing memories more effectively, as researchers demonstrate in a new study. Sleep could thus be used as an early prevention strategy for post-traumatic stress disorders. (1)

Acceptance. That is the key.

Trying to fight against the current just adds to the suffering.

But fool not yourself. “Just” going to sleep is not the easy option…

It takes a lot of courage to accept the cosmos.
