Pain. Can you laugh without it?

When two painful stimuli act on us at the same time, we perceive one of them as less painful. This phenomenon is part of the body's own pain control system. A dysfunction of this inhibition is associated with chronic pain disorders. (1)

Pain guides us through life. Only to get to the final moments of our life and experience the source of pain itself: Life.

Don't cry.

Would there ever be pain without your need to laugh?

Look around you.

Stop laughing.

Would you ever do so without ever being in pain?

Listen to the world instead.

("Your pain is what makes me Be")
