Re-branding your site/ blog is a difficult task.
Today's environment is changing.
And I am not talking about wars, geopolitical tensions, economic problems or social upheavals. I am referring to the way people think. The way we see the cosmos, the way we interact with each other.
To-day there is not much time. Everything is fast. So everything people write need to be concise and short. Say what you have to say with few words. No need for fanfare.
So we think we know what to do.
So we believe we understand how to speak and write.
Little do we know that the wind will change once more.
One day prose will be in fashion again.
One day poetry will have its revenge.
One day we will read again, as Thomas Tipp said.
There is always time to read. There is always time to be descriptive. There are always reasons to be concise. The way one writes should not be carried over like dust in the wind.
Our writing is the mountain. Raising high above all else. Giving the point of reference for the rivers to flow down the sea. We owe it to the world to build that mountains high. In the way we like. Not in the way the world expects us to be.
Our Logos shapes the world, not the other way around.
Anything your write from the heart should serve as a beacon for other to follow. And in order to do that it should be what you like it to be. Other follow what they want to follow; if you change your site to gain more followers based on what they need, then you are following them. And your texts will be nothing more than castles in the sand, serving no other purpose than playing with that makes you feel right.
But the right site makes you feel bad.
Makes you question yourself and what you like.
Makes you better by destroying whatever makes you feel good.
Logos is harsh. Pain is the only way to your self.
And it takes someone honest to help you with that journey. Someone who writes not for you, but for himself as well. In the way he likes.
Re-branding your site?
No need.
(Stick to what you feel...)
