Part of 'Beyond the wall of Existence' project: An attempt to propose new ideas to solve the great philosophical mysteries of Existence and Being.

One of the greatest questions of all time is how the world exists.
Why is the matter that we see here?
The most fundamental of questions. Where it all began.
Why is there something in the world instead of nothing?
A question that is in the foundations of our agony to understand our own being. Why are we here? Who created the cosmos? Who or what created the atoms? Who made the Big Bang go bang bang? And the more we are stamped by this question the more we grow anxious about whether we should be here as well.
Multiple philosophers have tried to answer this across the centuries of human thinking. But each one of them offered a different approach or answer. Modern physics and cosmology are not any different. Theories upon theories trying to explain the things we see. The milky way, the cosmic microwave background, cosmic inflation, dark matter and so on.
Still, many things going on but no end in the near future. Because every path that we choose are all paths within the same forest in which we are lost. A forest made up of the same beliefs, the same axioms on which all trees are born.
IRRATIONAL THOUGHTS could be the solution!
Why does matter exist? Why does something exists instead of nothing? All very tough questions - the basis of our philosophical quest for understanding this cosmos. And yet, we must always remember: When a question is hard (or even impossible) to answer, perhaps the question is wrong…
We must always be aware of the silent premises we hold.
The axioms we take for granted.
That make us question things and seek answers.
And then try to choose another path.
To get lost in a whole new forest.
WHAT IF what we see does NOT exist? What if NOTHING EXISTS? The atoms, the stars and the planets, our own self! What if the question cannot be answered because it is based on our faith that things exist while they do not?!?
It is not so weird as you might think in the first place. Atoms are fluctuations of energy anyway. What we call electrons, protons and so on, are statistical clouds that happen to concentrate on a place that we measure - nothing more. And certainly not more 'real' than the void we have thought of as the mother of all the cosmos. Quantum fluctuations in the void giving birth to all there is. Modern theories speak about nothingness and in a way, it does make sense.
Why have something instead of anything?
Answer? You do not!
All things cancel out between them. At the end, what is left is a total sum of zero. What we see is just Nothing disguised in Something. The fact that we see most of things without senses is moot; senses are by no means an objective way to know what is real (rf. to all relative Harmonia Philosophica articles about 'Senses' or 'Against senses' or to the related article 'Against the Senses' in PhilPapers).
Not trying to create new theories here.
But to point out the obvious.
There is never one way to think!
Stay tuned for more! Keep thinking! Keep questioning it all!
