Ancient Greek Translation, Heidegger, Plato…

Writing means putting your thoughts into a specific framework designed by others. You must use the words and structure invented for the specific language of your choice and your ideas must be changed so as to adapt to that framework.

Heidegger himself was terrified even at the thought of how much information modern day philosophers had lost due to the fact that they read Aristotle from translations and not from the original ancient Greek text.

Πως μπορείς όμως να γνωρίζεις τι λέει ο άλλος αν δεν είσαι μέσα στο μυαλό του; (How can you know what the other person is saying if you are not in his mind?) Πως μπορεί ο άλλος να εκφραστεί ελεύθερα αν πρέπει να μπει στο δικό σου μυαλό για να μιλήσει; (How can the other person speak truly if he has to get into your mind in order to speak?)
