Brace!

Current geopolitical tensions between the US and Europe could cost a lot. From problems in economy and can even lead to war. We are not here to comment on the politics - our political stance is explained by our everyday posts here. But we are here to warn our members and readers of potential problems.

So the advice is this: Brace!

No one can really tell the form the measures of EU against the US will take or the retaliation from the US in turn. So it is time to do what every sane person with a minimum knowledge of computers did since computers were invented.

BACKUP EVERYTHING!

Take your site, your blog and export it.

Save the file.

You never know when you will need it.

It might be sooner than you might think.

What if we wake up and see our beloved platform be banned or not accessible from our country? What if our government decides to block access to resources we need or to the very known platform that we and millions others use?

Better safe than sorry.

Take a backup and schedule regular backups as well. Store the exports in your laptop locally. If problems arise, the cloud will be our greatest issue.

Then go to sleep.
